CLIMATE

The climate is the set of atmospheric conditions such as temperature, humidity and wind, covering a particular region. The word comes from the Greek “clinamen” which means “inclination”; it is a function of inclination of solar radiations on earth’s surface. Climatic factors are the conditions that lead to changes on climatic elements we can distinguish among region factors, which act regularly from the equator to the poles, and geographical factors, which act differently in every location these factors are: latitude, the greenhouse effect and albedo. For climate studies as a result of climate change it has also been developed both global climate models (GCMS: GLOBAL CLIMATE MODELS) and regional (RCG: REGIONAL CLIMATE MODELS). Obtained by downscaling operations by global models. The basic principles of climatic models are mainly the same as the weather forecast models but as concerns climatic areas we have models of radiation CONNETTIVO transferring in addition to fluid dynamic ones and principles concerning physics processes which are not very important for the weather forecast but are very important for the climate forecast such as the effect of the snow overing on the earth albedo, the interaction between the atmosphere and biosphere through cycle of carbonic for the evolution of the impact of the human forcing.
